Obama Bows to the King

You might find it interesting how President Obama is greeting foreign heads of state during his world tour. While greeting the Queen of England, our nation’s biggest ally, Obama gives a slight head nod as a sign of respect. But, while greeting the King of Saudi Arabia, Obama bows low enough to kiss the King’s feet. This is something U.S. Presidents just don’t do. Maybe it’s just Obama acknowledging that we are totally dependent on Saudi oil, or maybe it’s just an indication of Obama’s Muslim roots. Either way, it sickens me. Watch and see what you think.
UPDATE: The White House is putting the spin on this story by saying that Obama’s bow was not a bow. He was simply doing a two-handed handshake and because of his height, he had to bend over to reach the King. This is simply a joke. First of all, check out Obama’s handshake with the Queen of England, who is much shorter than the Saudi King. Obama didn’t have to bend over to reach her hand. Also, notice in the video that as Obama bows, you can plainly see his left hand is still by his side. This kind of blows the whole theory of a two-handed shake. The White House is lying.
Who the heck is Shawn Swisher? I am a man who believes America is truly a great country. I believe we need to return to the Constitution and the Christian principles this country was founded on. The whole “Obama style” of diplomacy is just a gross glimpse of things to come. The past 2 centuries of blood being spilled on this soil and abroad will all be for naught after Obama gets done shaming America for being American.

wow i am a 22 year old unemployed (due to a layoff) father of two and am desperately worried about mr. obama’s plan of kissing everyones ass “because bush f’d things up”. I think the tiger woods guy needs to grow some balls AND BE PROUD TO B AN AMERICAN!

wtf is wrong with you people ? since when does “showing pride in being american” mean you can’t show respect to any other culture ? how can we be expecting the world to bow to us, if we never have to do the same in return ?

I can only speak for myself, but I don’t expect the rest of the world to bow to us. I don’t even expect them to like us. This isn’t like a popularity contest in high school. There will always be people who dislike America. The left just needs to get over that, accept it and stop apologizing for America. America gives more money to other countries than any other, and no country has sacrificed more of their own sons to help others than America. Most of Europe would be speaking German right now if it weren’t for America.
Besides, Obama’s own administration agrees he shouldn’t have done it. That’s why they are trying to lie their way out of it.

Raised in Indonesia among a group of Muslims…what do you expect. The King of Saudi Arabia is also the guardian of MECCA.
Well let’s just add this to the gaffe on Bowling and the Special Olympics (had that one been McCain or Palin the “second estate” would still be making it headline news. But Obama…no he’s the “golden” brown who can do no wrong. He is simply showing us all his true heart. That would be of a man who is bigoted, prejudiced and weak when it comes to representing this nation of ours. Demonstrating a beholding posture towards the head of another nation state is just another sign of his true nature. This is the Barack without the teleprompter and the well scripted speech.
Pay attention, it’s going to “get better”, in a very bad way.

This is a load of bull. I doubt Obama’s bow had anything to do with the fact that he grew up Muslim or that he feels inferior to the king of Saudi Arabia. it is simple showing respect to a man that probable hasn’t received enough respect from American. come on seriously Obama promise was to bring forth a change. America and the queen already have a good relationship. he might just be trying to strengthen the relationship between America and the king of Saudi. Give the man a break he might be the biggest break America has had in a very very long while.
