Obama a Gifted Speaker? Only When the Teleprompter Works

This is funny…

Harry Reid’s latest book has come out in paperback (I bet there was a long line at Barnes & Noble for that one) and it includes an interesting quote in the epilogue that seems to reflect the sentiment of pretty much everyone on the left…that Barack Obama is truly a gifted speaker.

Reid writes about hearing Obama speak: “`That speech was phenomenal, Barack,’ I told him. And I will never forget his response. Without the barest hint of braggadocio or conceit, and with what I would describe as deep humility, he said quietly: `I have a gift, Harry.”‘

Ok, so everyone on the left, everyone in the mainstream media and even the great one himself thinks that Obama is a great speaker. Here’s the truth…Barack Obama is a gifted reader. As long as everything is scripted out right there in front of him, he’s brilliant. Without the script, he’s a total amateur. Don’t believe me? Just watch what happens when the teleprompter messes up…

Talk about a deer caught in headlights! He can’t even ad lib and fake it. Nothing but wide eyes and dead silence. Kind of makes you wonder if he will have the same reaction when the red telephone rings and he’s told Iran just launched a missile toward Israel, or worse yet, us. Do you have any idea how much time we would have to react? About 33 minutes. Yep, it will only take about 33 minutes for a nuclear tipped ballistic missile to reach the United States from Iran. Is this the guy you want in charge of protecting us from such a threat? I shudder to think of that happening, but if it does I  sure hope the puppetmasters can come up with a decent script before we’re all crispy fried.
